It’s almost a year since ‘Munni’ swayed into our hearts, but still the reel sizzling idol has now become an epitome of item songs…. And also since its release it has been the dream of every music composer to beat this rustic chartbuster.
Here’s yet another movie which has given feelers to our birdies that it will have a track that will surely be a competition against ‘Munni’
Hriday Shetty, who has earlier directed films like ‘Plan’ and ‘Pyaar Mein Twist’, is all set to begin his next project ‘Chaalis Chauraasi’, an atypical humour crime genre, coming this June. The movie comprises of interesting set of actors namely Naseeruddin Shah, Ravi Kishan, KK Menon, and Atul Kulkarni while nothing is known about the leading lady.
Recently the film’s team recorded an item song which was sung by Daler Mehndi and ‘Munni’ Fame Mamta Sharma. Composed by music composer Lalit Pandit, unit sources revealed us that they have recorded an explosive item song.
The track, Lalit believes has the calibre to be a bigger rage than ‘Munni’ and is an instant hit. This song will be picturised on Naseeruddin Shah and this is for the first time that Daler has lent his voice for the great actor.
Sources also added to say that Daler in fact specially flew from Delhi to record the song. Shah was also present for the recording along with director and the music team.
