Bhojpuri Tigers beat the Bhojpuri Jawans in Celebrity Cricket T20 match
Bhojpuri Superstar Pakkhi Hegde’s Senhoor Ent. Pvt. Ltd bought cricket and cinema together in a scintillating fashion. The first ever T20 Cricket match played between the Bhojpuri film stars also marked the launch of Senhoor Entertainment Pvt. Ltd on the Republic Day. The match was played at Venus Cultural Association Grounds in Goregaon. The match was inaugurated by Bhojpuri film producer Mr. Deepak Sawant and Income Tax commissioner Mr. S.P. Singh. The Bhojouri Jawans captian Dinesh Lal Yadav won the toss and opted to field first. The Tigers entertained the crowd and scored a total of 221 runs at the loss of just 3 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Uttam Tiwary was the star of the innings scoring an unbeaten 108 runs. He was well supported by Ajay Sharma who scored 64 runs. The captain Manoj Tiwary was dismissed cheaply when he edged a Pravesh Lal delivery to the wicket keeper Aditya Ojha. The other batsmen Abhay Sinha and Sudhir Singh scored 10 and 6 respectively. The Bhojpuri Jawans bowling lacked precision and the only two successful bowlers were Daulat Chatterjee and Pravesh Lal Yadav who claimed a wicket each. In reply to the mammoth score of 221, the Jawans managed to put up only 163 runs. The highest scorer for the Jawans was Aakash Mukherjee who scored 40 and he was given some support on the other end by Ravi Kant who scored a patient 32. Pravesh lal scored 17 while Alok Kumar and Prakesh Jais scored 11 each. Dinesh Lal Yadav’s stay at the crease was short lived as he was dismissed Leg before wicket by Sudhir Singh at the score of 4. Manoj Tiwary and Sudhir Singh claimed two wickets each while Uttam Tiwary claimed 3 wickets and left the Jawans struggling to keep up with the ever increasing required run rate. Uttam Tiwary was adjourned the Man of the match for his valuable 108 runs and 3 wickets which changed the course of the game.
Prior to the match, Senhoor Entertainment’s Logo was unveiled at a press conference by Pakkhi Hedge, Dinesh Lal Yadav and Manoj Tiwary. Pakkhi told the media that she intends to produce films, TV shows and mega events under the banner of Senhoor. She also thanked the entire industry saying that none of this would have been possible without the support of her co stars and colleagues. Senhoor Entertainment’s spokeperson Mr. Prashant Nishant revealed to the press that this was just a beginning. He said that a three match series is going to be played in Patna next month. Both Dinesh Lal Yadav and Manoj Tiwary said that the event was a major hit and that they were looking forward to the Patna matches.
