International Institute of Fashion Technology (IIFT) celebrated 100 years of Indian cinema in a fashionable style as it organised a Bollywood Night as part of the 'Delhi International Film Festival' (DIFF) at the NDMC Convention Centre in the Capital. The evening saw various star performances by well-known artists such as Pop Singer Sagarika Deb, Shankar Sahney, Twinkle Vinayak, Shuweta Kapoor, and Shamsher Singh Mehandi.
On this occasion IIFT director, Ratnadeep Lal said, "It's really nice to see student designers of our institute participate in such an event, where 100 years of Indian cinema is being celebrated by unique ideas of fashion."
Singer Sagarika Deb mesmerised the audiences with her performance of the famous Bollywood dance numbers. Sagarika says, "It was an honor for me to perform at the prestigious event of the 'Delhi International Film Festival' in association DIFF. It was a superb effort by all the members of IIFT & DIFF to make it such a huge success. Special thanks to my friend Ratnadeep Lal for inviting me to perfom at this event. I hope all of them continue their success trail.."
